The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of ACCOUNTS CLERK for our outlets at TRIBECA MALL at TRIANON.
The incumbent will be responsible to:
Process Purchase Order, Invoicing and Costing: Prepare and process invoices / purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant costs are recorded and managed effectively.
Fixed asset register: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date fixed asset register by recording acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation, ensuring assets are properly tracked and reconciled with financial records.
Preparation of payment requests to be sent to the Accountant for processing and payment. Ensure prompt payment to suppliers on a monthly basis.
Bank Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling bank statements, identifying discrepancies, and resolving them in a timely manner. Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
Manage Accounts Receivables / Payables, Input of Purchase invoices for Vat purposes, Agree invoices with Purchase Orders.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and correspondence, to ensure smooth daily operations of the office
Assist the Accountant in performing the transactional finance activities including internal controls
Bank all receipts from customers on a daily basis and ensures that the daily sales control are performed and any discrepancies investigated;
Assist the Accountant in preparation of monthly accounts
Assist the Procurement officer for the monthly stock count and stock report reconciliation
Other adhoc clerical tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
At least a Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications. Candidates holding at least ACCA Level 1 would be an advantage
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
1-2 years of experience in a similar position
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office Suite applications (esp. Ms Excel)
Knowledge of QuickBooks software will be a major advantage

Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible to
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies according to established procedures.
Assist in picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and on time.
Ensure proper labelling, handling, and stacking of materials.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the storage areas
Assist in periodic stock-taking, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages to the storekeeper or supervisor.
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, trolley) safely and efficiently.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Operate bottling line equipment in a correct, safe and efficient manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
At least a School Certificate or equivalent qualifications with passing marks in Accounting and/or Mathematics.
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse/store operations.
Basic knowledge of inventory systems and documentation.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
